Unfortunately, IW took it upon themselves to remove dedicated servers from MW2 for the PC.
What this means is that there will *not* be competition for the game. That is just 1 of many issues caused by it, but in regards to this squad, that reason is the most important.
Sadly, this means we will not be moving this squad over to MW2 unless there is some sort of resolve created after it is launched. There has been a lot of uproar from the PC community in regards to this, so maybe our voice will be heard by IW.
I will post again when I figure out what we'll be doing.

IWnet will be fine. I am sure they will set it up in which you can still mod in some sort of way even though they say not so as of yet. if it is built around and terms of battle net everything will run smoothly.

Will just have to wait and see I suppose.
From what I've gathered on the situation, there wont be modding at all beyond what they already have built into the game. It'll be great as far as casual gaming and just killing people goes, but when it comes down the competition, its going to fail. Servers will lag much more than any dedicated servers. Wont be able to play with the Euros much anymore. If there -is- competition, then it'll be on a stock type of system without any competition mods to make it better.
I havent seen IW.Net's system, so I cant fully say it'll fail, but unless they're about to release some new system that is going to revolutionize gaming as we know it, it wont work out too well beyond just playing for fun.
At any rate, if it doesnt work out, going to get competition going on CoD 4 and just stick with that for now.

This is ridiculous, 9v9 cap on MP, no dedicated servers, gaming console type matchmaking, no mods, and no console commands, wtf!? why doesn't IW just come out and say, "we care more about console gaming than PC gaming *middle finger*"
I won't be buying MW2, i'll be sticking with COD4. Borderlands, L4D2, Shattered Horizons, hmm...which to spend my money on...
